Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center - Program Overview

The Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center is an innovative, residential vocational rehabilitation training facility that serves adults who are legally blind by training them in skills to prepare for, find or retain employment.

Customers

Our Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center (CCRC) serves people who are legally blind and referred to the center, including:

  • Adults and students who are blind or legally blind, ages 18 or older
  • Students who are blind or legally blind, under age 18, only with consent from CCRC and a guardian

CCRC serves adults who are legally blind seeking to prepare for or obtain employment by providing comprehensive training in core skills such as orientation and mobility, Braille, daily living skills and the use of assistive technology. We also provide career development and guidance, and adjustment to blindness services.
